About this workshop

I began this workshop 2015, it was aimed at amateur underwater shooters wanting to elevate their work using professional techniques. It has evolved over the years to become a workshop aimed at the professional but still giving amateurs invaluable knowledge to take their work to another level.

You will learn much about all aspects of shooting underwater.

I have been a cinematographer for 38 years both land and underwater, I am an active member of the American Society of cinematographers and the Australian cinematographers society

The classroom on 29th

+ 3 Ocean Dives at Casino Point, Catalina (1 Day)

October 30th 8am

(Note: Boat to Catalina, air fills, and underwater camera package not included.)

This is where it all comes together! We will practice shooting wildlife and your classmates. You will be asked to put together a 1-minute reel of your footage for a final 1-on-1 Zoom session review with your instructor.

Upon completion you will receive a digital NAUI Underwater Cinematography C-Card. The only course to offer this certification.

Equipment

For the Ocean days will require an underwater camera package. If you don’t have your own, you can rent from Hollywood Divers and receive a 50% discount on rentals for use during this class. No GoPro’s or iPhones etc.
